Do I need an app or account to use Wovn?
No app, no account, no login — ever. Each card’s QR code opens directly to a voice recording screen in your phone’s built-in camera app. Tap record, talk. Done.
How long does transcription take?
Recordings are processed automatically. Most transcriptions are ready within a few minutes of the recording ending.
Can I add more than 52 questions?
The deck contains 52 carefully crafted questions. Additional expansion packs are in development — sign up for updates to be first to know.
Is Wovn only for grandparents?
Not at all. Wovn works beautifully for parents, grandparents, family reunions, retirement celebrations, and memorial projects. The questions are written to work for any generation.
When does the keepsake book ship?
If you purchase the Legacy Bundle, your book ships once all 52 cards have been answered and transcribed. We’ll notify you when it’s in production.
Can I see or hear the recordings before the book is printed?
Yes. Every recording is transcribed and reviewed before your keepsake book goes to print, so you’ll be able to see the final story text ahead of time.
How much does it cost, and is there a subscription fee?
Wovn is a one-time purchase — no subscriptions or recurring fees. The Deck is $39.99, and the Legacy Bundle (deck + hardbound keepsake book) is $99.99.
Can I order extra copies of the book for other family members?
Yes, additional copies of the finished keepsake book can be ordered separately once the original is complete.
What happens to the audio recordings after transcription?
Recordings are stored securely and used only to create your keepsake book. They are not shared with third parties.
Is my family’s information private and secure?
Yes. Your stories and recordings are kept private and are never sold or shared with outside parties.
Does the recipient need to do anything to set it up, or can I just hand them the deck?
No setup required. Just hand them the deck — they scan the QR code on any card with their phone’s camera and start recording immediately.
What if a card gets lost or damaged?
Reach out to us and we’ll help you get a replacement card so no story goes unanswered.
Does Wovn work for someone who’s not tech-savvy?
Yes. There’s no app to download and nothing to set up — just point a phone camera at the QR code and start talking. If they can take a photo, they can use Wovn.
